Important: This notice covers the public website metroriskmg.com. Investigative engagements, client contracts, and People Vetting CRA services have additional notices and agreements.

1. Who we are

Metro Risk Management Group LLC (“Metro Risk”, “we”, “us”) is a Florida Class “A” private investigative agency (License A 3600224, FDACS Chapter 493) and technology & intelligence group. We are not an insurance company.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to visitors of our websites and people who contact us by email/phone for institutional or product inquiries. It does not replace:

client engagement letters / SOWs for investigative services;
People Vetting (PeopleVetting.com) FCRA / CRA notices when that platform processes consumer reports.

3. Information we collect

Contact data: name, email, phone, organization, message content you send us.
Technical data: IP address, browser/user agent, pages visited, approximate security logs.
Cookie / consent choices: categories selected, policy version, timestamp, hashed IP for audit.
Business relationship data: if you become a client, information needed to perform licensed services (under separate agreements).

We do not intentionally collect sensitive consumer report data through the public marketing site.

4. How we use information

Respond to inquiries and schedule meetings;
Operate, secure, and improve the website;
Comply with law (including licensing and lawful requests);
Analytics or marketing measurement only if you consent via our cookie banner;
Defend legal claims and prevent fraud/abuse.

5. Legal bases (where GDPR / similar frameworks apply)

Legitimate interests — site security, responding to business inquiries;
Consent — non-essential cookies / analytics / marketing;
Contract — when we enter a service agreement;

7. Sharing

We do not sell personal information for money. We may share data with:

hosting / email / IT processors that help us run the site;
professional advisors (counsel, accountants) under confidentiality;
authorities when required by law;
successor entities in a corporate transaction.

8. International transfers

Primary systems are intended for U.S. operations. Staff or processors in Colombia or elsewhere may access business systems under contractual and technical safeguards.

9. Retention

Website consent logs: typically up to 24 months (security/audit);
Inquiry emails: as needed for the relationship and legal holds;
Investigative / CRA records: per engagement terms and applicable law (not governed solely by this website notice).

10. Your rights

U.S. (including CCPA/CPRA where applicable): request to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale/sharing of personal information. We will not discriminate for exercising rights.

Colombia (Law 1581): access, update, rectify, and suppress personal data as provided by law.

EEA/UK (if applicable): access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection; complaint to a supervisory authority.

11. Third-party SDKs & scripts (audit)

As of the last update, this public site loads:

Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) — typography only; no advertising SDK.
No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, Clarity, or similar tags are loaded unless you opt in later and we enable them behind consent.

Contact forms: we use mailto links only — no web form fields beyond what you choose to write in your email client.

12. Children

The site is directed to business audiences and is not intended for children under 16.

13. Security

We use HTTPS, security headers, access controls, and least-privilege practices. No method of transmission is 100% secure.

14. Changes

We will update the version and date when this Policy changes. Material cookie-policy version changes will re-prompt consent where appropriate.

15. Florida investigative services

Advertising and provision of private investigative services are regulated under Florida Chapter 493. Agency license number A 3600224 is displayed on this site. Consumer complaints regarding licensed activity may be directed to FDACS as provided by Florida law, in addition to contacting us.
